You probably think at 5403 metres La Torre is a bit of a micky mouse course. You are wrong! Nicklaus designed La Torre and without doubt at par 68, it’s a real test. The course may well be short but the par 3 holes are extremely tricky!

The best way to summarise La Torre Golf Course is plenty of sand, plenty of water and very difficult par 3’s. There are six in total and three of them are over water. In particular, look out for holes 9, 11 and 17, which are card wreckers!

Although La Torre is a short golf course don't under estimate it. Strategy rather than length is the key to a good score at La Torre. Find the right spot off the tee and the pins are there to be attacked. If you’re wayward (especially on the par 3’s) take plenty of balls as lakes, huge waste bunkers and long grasses lie in wait!

La Torre is usually in mint condition with quickish greens and perfectly manicured fairways. In our opinion, it’s the perfect choice as an opener for a golf holiday – not too tough, makes you think and a good introduction to local conditions!
